Since 1992 the WCFS Yearbook Club has been in existence; keeping track of and capturing each year in the school’s yearbook. Originally the senior class ran the yearbook so that they would also have a memory to take with them after graduation. After a few years “The WCFS Yearbook Club” was formed and has been run entirely by student and parent volunteers.
It has been my pleasure to be the WCFS Yearbook Club Director for the past two years. Because of recent circumstances...

Some fruit of the Academy can be seen in the recent blockbuster independent film Fireproof which was written and directed by Alex & Stephen Kendrick and produced with the help of their church. Although the Kendrick brothers were making films long before the first Christian Filmmakers Academy in 2004, Stephen credits the things he learned from a past Filmmakers Academy with helping him write the script for Fireproof.

Popular today is the theme, "Never give up." It is used in a variety
of circumstances, from sports to dream-seeking. The basic
illustration it confers is the stubborn determination to suck all you
can from this life, from yourself, from others; it emphasizes the
power of self over hardship and obstacles. It is used in Christian
circles as well, but there the focus is clinging to God, not
ourselves....

We often do not take time to stop and think about it because we are too busy running around trying to find the answer. The answer is simple, if we believe it is true; we will find that our reason for living rests is in the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ. He is the hope of all the Nations. It is for Christ that we live!..."

Recently I’ve been pondering the Proverbs and the help that they give us in training children. I challenge you to teach them diligently to your children. We want our children to be vividly aware of the difference between the wise and the foolish. If, then, they choose to make decisions contrary to the Word of God, they will be fully aware that they are acting the fool with all of his consequences....

When my wife and I first heard the news that we were to have a child, the very first thought I had was the sober reality of raising a child who was headed for hell without the intervening Grace of God. My whole focus narrowed to this daunting task of training "up a child in the way he should go so that when he is old, he won't depart". (Proverbs 22:6)

My wife and I are frequently asked this question when we are out with our whole crew. My wife and I came to our convictions about family planning as young believers who earnestly desired a scriptural basis for discerning what Christ demanded of us as disciples. We felt that there must be absolutes that are clearly revealed in scripture in order for us to assess what is our domain and what is God’s for making our “family” decisions.
