"Many people question their existence. I too have often wondered what my purpose or excuse was to live. We often do not take time to stop and think about it because we are too busy running around trying to find the answer. The answer is simple, if we believe it is true; we will find that our reason for living rests is in the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ. He is the hope of all the Nations. It is for Christ that we live!..."

Recently I’ve been pondering the Proverbs and the help that they give us in training children. I challenge you to teach them diligently to your children. We want our children to be vividly aware of the difference between the wise and the foolish. If, then, they choose to make decisions contrary to the Word of God, they will be fully aware that they are acting the fool with all of his consequences....

When traditionally structured academics begin to choke out the freedom of pursuing the unique needs and interests of their children, parents need to reassess the daily workload in the light of the eternal and create goals that cooperate with God's own plans for His Kingdom.

In “Renewed Day By Day A Daily Devotional” by A.W. Tozer for Nov. 28th he states, “God in love and wisdom has given us in His Holy Spirit every gift and power and help that we need to serve Him. We do not have to look around for some other way!”

When my wife and I first heard the news that we were to have a child, the very first thought I had was the sober reality of raising a child who was headed for hell without the intervening Grace of God. My whole focus narrowed to this daunting task of training "up a child in the way he should go so that when he is old, he won't depart". (Proverbs 22:6)

My wife and I are frequently asked this question when we are out with our whole crew. My wife and I came to our convictions about family planning as young believers who earnestly desired a scriptural basis for discerning what Christ demanded of us as disciples. We felt that there must be absolutes that are clearly revealed in scripture in order for us to assess what is our domain and what is God’s for making our “family” decisions.

Let me share with you part of the morning message from November 7, from Charles Spurgeon’s, “Morning and Evening”. The verse he quotes is: “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands.” Is. 49:16, he then shares, “How dare you doubt My constant remembrance, when the memorial is set on My very own flesh?”

It would seem that God didn’t really love the Egyptians because, as we read in the story of Moses, of all the terrible plagues he allowed to come upon them and how Pharaoh ended up drowning in the Red Sea when God let the waters come back on them. But God loves everyone. That is why, later on in history, he sent his only Son...

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Heb. 12:2
Indeed, to such an author our surrender is never in vain. He is all knowing, all-powerful and fully and completely worthy.

A good conscience is the balance to an evil government on earth, because when I do good I have a good conscience towards God because God commands us to do good. If evil governments are against what God commands, and a good conscience is what God commands, where’s the balance? There are seven things about the conscience taught by God
